For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.

Mysteries – Divine Secrets – Hidden from the natural Mind. Something above and beyond reason (Senses).

Speaking in Tongues is one of the basic principles of Christianity in the supernatural. You participate in the spiritual realm, rearranging things for to work for you in the physical realm. Paul understood this: He said I speak in tongues more than you all. 1 Corinthians 14:18. No wonder he was successful.

The bible says in Romans 8:26. In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through. We don’t know HOW and WHAT to pray. He tells us how to pray and gives us what to pray by interceding through us.

In Gen 11:9 – The whole world was one language and God testified that whatsoever they decide to do they will accomplish. Unity is related to language – we’re united when we speak the same and what we want to do, none can stop us. We get united with God when we speak in tongues. The Holy Ghost Comes – and commands a blessing where there is unity. Psalms 133.

In Acts the Holy Ghost was preaching in everyone native languages. God will use you to preach in a language you have never learnt.

The enemy fight tongues because he doesn’t want power to come to Church. He tells you that you are wasting time because you don’t understand, it’s a lie. Keep talking in Tongues.

What are Tongues:
Tongues are Supernatural ability to speak a language you don’t understand/unknown to us/we never studied. Given by the Holy Spirit.

3 types of tongues:
*Tongues of Men – Normal languages of Men – You are speaking to Men. English, French, Chinese etc. This may be unknown to the one speaking but known to the hearers.
*Tongues of Angels – Language that Angels understand – You are speaking to Angels. Used for instructing Angels. 1 Corinthians 13:1.
*Unknown Tongues – 1 Corinthians 14:2.You speak directly to God – it’s the highest level of tongues.

If you don’t speak in tongues- you face challenges because we can’t instruct Angels without speaking their language…

Benefits of Speaking in tongues:
– Every time you speak a new tongue its evident you hit a new dimension (another realm in the spirit). A change in spirit realm. So keep speaking, you will get new tongues and move several steps in spirit realm.
– Stimulate new mindset – new thought pattern. Changes your way of thinking. You see new Visions.
– When you pray in tongues, you bypass the mind and your breakthroughs are faster. Mind is where you reason your miracle – devils bring doubt..thoughts of impossibility. Spirit say I will have a house, mind says I don’t have money. Delaying the answer. Create a momentum in the spirit.
– Access to Revelation Knowledge
– Instruct Angels to work on your behalf. No wonder Paul was so successful.
– Builds and edify(charge) your Spirit Man. 1 Corinthians 14:4.
– Build your Faith – Jude 1:20.
